About McDonald‘s Kinderhilfe
McDonald's Kinderhilfe has been committed to the health and well-being of children in Germany since 1987. The foundation operates 23 Ronald McDonald Houses near paediatric clinics throughout Germany as temporary homes for families of seriously ill children. In 6 Ronald McDonald Oases, families can retreat directly in the clinic and feel safe and secure. In total, more than 8,200 families were able to stay close to their sick children in the houses and oases in 2022. The McDonald's Children's Aid Foundation also supports projects that are dedicated to the well-being of children.
