Extended fields of application with DeepVA and ci‑book™

• DeepVA is a highly scalable, secure and easy-to-integrate AI platform that enables organisations to deploy one of the best AI infrastructures wherever it is needed with easy-to-use software solutions for the automatic capture and tagging of video and audio data.
• ci-book™ offers the following integration option: Image and video files stored in the ci-book™ • Asset Manager are transmitted to DeepVA's AI platform for automatic tagging; these keywords, so-called tags, are then available in the Asset Manager, which makes it extremely quick and easy for all users to find image and video files.

Start of the cooperation

In 2019, The Chainless GmbH from Freiburg - trading as Aiconix GmbH, also from Freiburg, since February 2024 - and d-serv GmbH from Tübingen came up with a joint idea sketch for a »Publishing Cloud« with their products Deep VA® and ci-book™ and submitted it to the »Cloud Mall Baden-Württemberg« initiative to carry out a cooperative practical pilot. The idea outline was reviewed by a committee consisting of the Cloud Mall Baden-Württemberg project partners for all essential evaluation and approval criteria and approved as a practical pilot on 25 June 2019.

Publishing Cloud

From a technical point of view, the »Publishing Cloud« creates a bridge between different IT systems or content sources, such as content management systems, databases for product, sales and marketing information, whereby employees in marketing, sales or service in production and distribution of high-quality advertising and communication media and the processes required for this are supported. The focus of the Publishing Cloud is on the one hand in the AI-based analysis of image and video material and on the other hand in the subsequent tagging to make the required media files easier to find.
